We replaced a spiral-bound staircase with a set of floating style treads crafted from solid timber pine wood, giving it a more natural and rustic feel in the cabin. Due to the location of the spiral stair cases, we had to move the bedroom door on the main level over a few feet as well as cut a larger hole in the floor to make enough space for the stairs to flow smoothly.
